Murshid Meaning

Murshid is an Urdu word which means a leader, or a guide, mostly a spiritual guide. It's not very commonly used in Hindi but is often used in poetry and a few Bollywood songs also.

Rangrez from Tanu Weds Manu, Murshid khele holi from D-Day and Bulleya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are some popular songs where the word is used.
